This special performance features legendary saxophonist Andy Sheppard - one of the world’s pre-eminent jazz saxophonists and composers - collaborating with his quartet and a powerful brass choir.
His career is closely tied to the city of Bristol, where he lived from the 1980s until 2016, and with which he still retains a strong bond. Andy has appeared innumerable times at St George’s over four decades, establishing a very special relationship with the hall and its audiences. These performances—spanning a range of settings – have been characterized by a continual spirit of experimentation and the communication of sheer joy in making music.
