Alex O’Connor (aka CosmicSkeptic) is an English public speaker, writer, philosopher, and social media personality. He is best known for his videos on philosophy on YouTube, most notably on the subjects of ethics, religion, and atheism. He has appeared on television programmes including Piers Morgan Uncensored, BBC Sunday Morning Live, and Channel 4 News, and has debated and discussed issues including the philosophy of religion, Biblical scholarship, free speech, and monarchy abolitionism with people such as Jordan Peterson, Penn Badgley, Richard Dawkins, Rainn Wilson, Ben Shapiro, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Slavoj Žižek.
