Figes & Hopkins

Here’s a lovely new pairing, drawn from two of our long-time favourite regular musicians. Saxophonist Kevin Figes is a tremendous performer & composer, recipient of rave reviews in The Guardian and Jazzwise for his playfully uncategorisable recordings. Matt Hopkins is a virtuoso guitarist whose dazzlingly inventive and melodic playing has been featured in groups as stylistically diverse as Andy Sheppard’s Hotel Bristol and The Hopkins Hammond Trio.

?Tonight, they’ll be playing jazz standards, swing, bossa, ballads, funk, and more, all in their own inimitable style. Come and marvel at their fluidity and near telepathic communication! Highly recommended.
