Undercurrents
A new two day event of talks, live music and grassroots activism hosted by the Brighton Green Party. Culminating in a fundraising concert “The Green Party Party” on Saturday 3rd from some of Brighton’s finest bands including Canned Pineapple & Sock Drawer. Get your ticket to support the party.
Undercurrents is platforming grassroots activists and community campaigners, bringing together those who are leading our movement from below.
Talks will touch on subjects including; how we can stop migrant raids in our communities, adapting our economy in the climate crisis, resisting the right wing press, politics and parenthood and the ongoing genocide in Gaza. On Friday evening there will be an unmissable live recording of Life of the Party co-hosted by Greens Organise.
Undercurrents is a fringe event of the Green Party Conference - and it is free for all.
There are limited free-tickets available for non-conference attendees. Book yours before they’re gone! If you’re attending Green Party Conference you won’t need to book, just turn up with your pass.

Back in the woods promotions hosts three of Brighton hottest bands for an missable evening of live music and dancing in aid of the Green Party.
Canned Pineapple
5-piece scuzz-pop and slacker rock super group. Canned Pineapple is the result of interplanetary telekinesis between the great beyond and the great norm.
Arcadia residential
Twin-fronted Brighton-born ‘Arcadia Residential’ find belonging in their raucous stage presence, catchy hooks and big sonic climaxes. Tipping mundanity on its side, the 4-piece deliver on fun, outlandish and colloquial lyrics, all strung up in a relatable yarn of young modern life.
Sock drawer The second best band in world. Irreverent pop duo Sock Drawer are here to save the world. Their debut album was co-produced by James Dring ( Gorillaz, Blur, Jamie T).
