Ed has appeared on some of the UK’s most popular TV shows: Mock the Week (BBC Two), Man Down (Channel 4), Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC Two) and Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Two), as well as presenting radio shows for BBC Radio One and BBC Radio Four. He won the prestigious Chortle award for Best Compere in 2014. Prior to this, Ed was co-writer and host of the iTunes-topping Peacock and Gamble Podcast as part of his double-act with comedian Ray Peacock. Peacock and Gamble also performed a sell-out UK tour in 2012, which was described as “a triumph of live comedy” (Fringe Guru) and “incessantly hilarious” (The Guardian). “A hugely likeable performer…an excellent comic” (Paul Whitelaw, The Scotsman). “A fully-rounded stand-up fiesta” (Brian Donaldson, The List).

Lara Ricote

Lara Ricote is a Mexican comedian turned storyteller residing in Amsterdam. She’s equal halves Mexican, American, and Venezuelan and equally as confused as you are about it. But telling stories helps. After studying political theory, Lara found the stage and began to use it to deal with the inescapability of the tiny tiny role she plays in history. She realized there’s something momentous in having agency in the narratives of tomorrow. So she does comedy and tells stories, and does sketches, and news shows, and she teaches stand up comedy, and she does improv even though no one is asking her to.
