About the show
Bath Choral Society are joined by Bristol Ensemble in an evening of barqoue masterpieces. Dido and Aeneas’s tragic love story is a 17th century gem, considered by many as the greatest English opera of all time. This concert performance is paired with another Baroque era masterpiece – Handel’s Dixit Dominus.
