About the show
Comprising LCoM Alumni Jamie Taylor - g; Adrian Knowles - db; Jason Scott - p, the Maranello Trio perform mainly swinging jazz standards of Oscar Peterson and Nat King Cole trios as well as arrangements of more popular songs in this jazz idiom. In numerous professional ensemble, the trio have played at some of the UK's most prestigious jazz venues including Ronnie Scott's, the Dean Street Pizza Express in London, Peggy's Skylight jazz venue in Nottingham and Wakefield Jazz Club.

The Maranello Trio comprises Jamie Taylor (guitar), Adrian Knowles (double bass), and Jason Scott (piano) who perform mainly swinging jazz standards, very similar to the Oscar Peterson and Nat King Cole trios of bygone years. In addition the Maranello Trio also perform arrangements of more popular songs in this jazz idiom.
Based in the north of England the Maranello Trio have played together for over ten years, travelling throughout the U.K. to perform in a variety of jazz clubs and venues. All three members of the trio are professional musicians who graduated from Leeds Conservatoire; in addition to playing in the trio they all work with other professional musical ensembles, having played at some of the U.K.'s most prestigious jazz venues, to include Ronnie Scott's, the Dean Street Pizza Express in London, Peggy's Skylight jazz venue in Nottingham and Wakefield Jazz Club.
