About the show
January 2027 marks the centenary of Antonio Carlos Jobim’s birth. Leeds favourites Big Bamboo are putting a set of his rarer tunes and hits together to celebrate the occasion adding Bossa Nova to their regular set featuring old school hot dance music from the Caribbean and Brazil, particularly focused on Choro and Mento - a fitting salute to Jobim the master.
