About the show
Celebrating 40 years of live comedy!
Established in 1986, The Comedy Cellar (formerly The Friday Alternative) is one of the longest-running comedy clubs in the UK.
Featuring - Alistair Williams

An observational storyteller, Alistair has been performing stand-up since 2015; rising through the ranks at a rate of knots excelling in any situation he is put in. After winning the Piccadilly Comedy Club’s New Comedian of the Year 2014 award and reaching the finals of prestigious competitions (Amused Moose Laugh Off, Leicester Square New Act and Laughing Horse New Act) Alistair is already on his way to the top.
'Alistair Williams describes his comedy style as the ramblings of a moron. He must be doing something right though as he is highly regarded as one of the most exciting new acts on the UK comedy circuit' (Catfae Talent)
'He has a charming and confident stage manner and his material is fresh and very funny. He endeared himself to the audience and left the stage to a loud round of applause' (Grahame Limmer, Bearcat Comedy Club).
Andy Storey

“Slick relaxed delivery…Wry punchlines efficiently packed in keeping the audience laughing.” – BBC Comedy Awards 2015.
- Steve Bennett – Chortle.
Born and Braised in the North of England BBC Radio New Comedy Award finalist 2015 Andy Storey is one of the most original, exciting and idiosyncratic rising stars of the post alternative comedy scene. His deliciously dry sense of humour, and effortless performance style mark him out as a refreshing, albeit positively cynical new voice in comedy.
Andy started Stand-Up in November 2010 and since then has been remarkably prolific finding himself in the final of six major competitions. Notably ‘One to Watch’ runner-up at the world famous Up The Creek Comedy Club, Leicester Square New act of the year and the prestigious BBC Radio New Comedy Award 2015.
‘Effortless natural delivery. Leaps of verbal imagination. A thoroughly enjoyable act and a gentleman to boot!’ Jessica Crisp.
In 2014 Jessica booked Andy to open for Jason Manford at the Great Ormond Street Charity Gala on The Strand.
James Redmond

James Redmond is a dry, slick and subtle stand up who delivers unexpected twists and turns during his set as he deconstructs his art.
He has a track record as a model and actor and is best known for seminal roles in Hollyoaks (C4) and Casualty (BBC 1) as well as having presented CD UK alongside Cat Deeley and appeared as a guest on Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC 2), Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire; (ITV 1) and Soccer AM (Sky 1).
'Fresh-off-the-telly James Redmond has the makings of a really good comic' (Fringe Magazine).
