With a hugely successful debut album 'The Family Jewels' released in 2010, as well as being nominated and winning many prestigious awards along the way, Marina Lambrini Diamandis, an Abergavenny-born songstress known just as Marina (formerly Marina & The Diamonds) started her career with a bang. Her new-wave pop drew comparisons with Kate Bush and Florence and the Machine, while 2012's second album 'Electra Heart' saw her take a more electro-pop direction. 2015 saw her continue the electro sound but with a more atmospheric feel on her third album 'Froot'. 2018 saw Marina team up with Clean Bandit for their hit single, 'Baby', and her fourth studio album 'Love + Fear' was released in May 2019, reaching no.5 on the official UK album chart.
