The John McCusker Trio is led by John McCusker, one of the most revered and decorated traditional musicians of his generation. A multi award-winning fiddle player, producer and composer, John has been at the heart of the UK folk scene for over three decades. His distinctive, emotionally charged playing and masterful compositions have made him a inchpin of contemporary Celtic music.

John McCusker is one of Scotland's foremost traditional musicians; winner of the BBC Radio Folk Musician of the Year in 2003. John McCusker started playing the fiddle at the age of seven, joined The Battlefield Band at 17, and has also worked as a producer for Eliza Carthy and Kate Rusby.
Sam Kelly

Sam Kelly is a Cornwall-based singer, song-writer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. As a young child Sam spent many a night enraptured, listening to his Irish grandfather tell folk tales, sing folk songs, and play folk tunes on his melodeon.
Having caught the bug, Sam has dedicated his life to rediscovering and renewing the sounds of his gaelic heritage, and creating exciting new music that transcends the boundaries of traditional and popular music.
Toby Shaer
Toby Shaer is an up and coming folk musician from Leigh on Sea, Essex. He is a multi-instrumentalist,
composer and producer who has worked and shared stages with some of the finest musicians in the
folk/country music scenes.
