We're pleased to have once again secured the services of rock guitarist and singer-songwriter Chantel McGregor - one of the most exciting musicians in the UK - to play at JJJ on Saturday 21st November!
A female guitar prodigy, Chantel was told by a major label that she had a "great voice, but girls don't play guitar like that!". Wisely ignoring their comments, Chantel has since enjoyed many years of touring and festival appearances, along with multiple album releases which show her gradual transition to a harder, bigger and bolder rock sound with progressive influences. Imagine the tone of Robin Trower, the inspiration of Hendrix, the influence of Stevie Ray Vaughan, the energy of Bonamassa, the intensity of Walter Trout and the haunting vocal of Stevie Nicks all rolled into one.
Chantel has had a career of winning awards and has recently been interviewed for features on Sky News, BBC Radio Five Live and BBC Radio Four.
