Steve Tilston at Town Pavillion, Bingham
About the show
Steve Tilston needs little introduction, being one of our most celebrated songsmiths, widely recognised within the world of folk and contemporary music. The words, arrangements and subtle, quite superb guitar playing could be no one else.
About 10 years ago, the story of his 'lost' letter from John Lennon thrust Steve into the worldwide media spotlight, and was the inspiration for the Hollywood movie 'Danny Collins', starring Al Pacino in the title role. Steve recently released his latest (and final) album, 'Last Call', over half a century on from his first album and on a par with his finest.
Steve's visits to Bingham Folk Club invariably sell out, and this promises to be yet another superb evening! Doors open at 7.30pm, with music from 8.00pm.
The Rugby Club has its own big car park and there is a licensed bar.
