Following the success of previous July concerts, BJazz showcases rising stars RJ Gilbert and George Hilliam across two sets, backed by the Arran Shanghavi Organ Trio.
BBC Young Jazz Musician semi-finalist RJ Gilbert brings a rich tone, melodic invention and formidable bebop fluency, while Royal Academy of Music trumpeter George Hilliam combines expressive improvisation with the composer's ear for shape and storytelling. Expect virtuosity, imagination and plenty of hard-swinging jazz.
