About the show
Production by:Gelos Network Ltd
Andover Comedy Club returns this December with a very special headline performance from one of Britain's most celebrated comedians.
Headlining the evening is the legendary Mark Steel, star of Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, QI, Mock the Week, and the award-winning BBC Radio 4 series Mark Steel's in Town.
Rather than a standard comedy club headline set, Mark will perform an extended 45-minute work in progress performance, giving you the rare opportunity to see Mark developing and performing brand-new material ahead of his forthcoming national tour. It's an intimate glimpse behind the scenes of the creative process from one of the UK's finest stand-up comedians, with jokes and stories that could soon be appearing on stages across the country.
Joining Mark will be a professionally selected supporting comedian and an experienced comedy MC, completing a full evening of first-class live stand-up in the traditional comedy club format.
Whether you're a lifelong fan of Mark Steel or simply looking for a fantastic night out, this promises to be an evening packed with intelligent observations, razor-sharp wit and huge laughs from start to finish.
With an intimate venue, a top-quality line-up and the chance to see one of Britain's most respected comedians performing brand-new material before it reaches theatres nationwide, this is a comedy night not to be missed.
Line-up subject to change without penalty or refund
