Born in Cardiff and raised in Woking, he first made his mark with The Martin Harley Band, a genre‑bending acoustic blues trio known for its inventive instrumentation and rich vocal harmonies.

Over a career spanning more than two decades, Harley has released eight albums, recording across Texas, Nashville, Wales and the UK, and earning praise from The Guardian, Roots Magazine and Guitarist Magazine. His music has appeared on The Vampire Diaries, Banshee, and PBS’s Music City Roots, and he has performed at Glastonbury, Royal Albert Hall, Union Chapel, Beautiful Days, and Tønder Festival.
