About the show
Attila the Stockbroker has been performing since 1980 and has done over 4000 gigs in 26 countries - including several tours of Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US and countless gigs all over mainland Europe. But he's never done a full tour of Scotland, which is completely ridiculous, and he wanted to set the record straight.
Lots of new poems from his most recent book 'Fiery Words for Hellish Times' plus acoustic songs, dub poetry and excerpts from his acclaimed Early Music Show, performed for the last five years at St. Cecilia's Hall, Scotland's Early Music Museum, as part of the Edinburgh Fringe. His accompanist for this, acclaimed young Scottish songwriter Calum Baird, will provide support with his clever, spiky, passionate songs.
Featuring - Attila The Stockbroker

Attila is a sharp-tongued, high energy, social surrealist rebel poet and songwriter. His themes are topical, his words hard-hitting, his politics unashamedly radical, but Attila will make you roar with laughter as well as seethe with anger.
'Whether he's ranting a poem or bashing out a song, there is something magnificent about Attila in full flight' (Ian McMillan BBC Radio 4).
Calum Baird
Calum Baird is an emerging indie-folk singer-songwriter from Scotland.
